Rest in peace Lucop, damn.
I really doubt lucop died this easily, this is probably his plan B, in case he isn't sure if he can beat baddie in a few minutes.
1. pretend to be dead while baddie goes to kill old alba since baddie is in a hurry, he won't have time to check the corpse
2. old alba also gets 'killed' by baddie, except lucop already told old alba that someone is coming to kill him, but needs alba to remain 'dead' to the world so he doesn't cause ripple effect.
3. after the world buries old alba, old alba turns out to be alive because lucop prepared a fake death/body of old alba
4. old alba goes time traveling with lucop to foil baddie's future plans
