i guess the reason is cycomi and/or shogakukan push the mangaka for a weekly release schedule . before , the mangaka had a 2-weekly schedule .

2-weekly : around 25 pages every 2 weeks .

1-weekly : around 10 pages or only 1 page every week . and most of the chapters is split into part 1 , part 2 , 3 ...
