1. Using other manga/anime logic, the seal would break once he died, which makes his sacrifice in vain. That's pretty much the entire sub-plot of Naruto.
2. The anime showed he died quickly after that, but seems like it wasn't the case here. He could have kid either with that Yasuko-look-alike girl, or any unnamed woman.
