It's actually kind of funny, but not too uncommon, seem leabric should have learned to never underestimate someone.

The prince is the ML, the second ML is veronica's cousin (who HATES veronica), hurelbad is basically a elena loyalist, and will not turn against his lady, even at the orders of the grand duke, it is in fact this decision that pretty much starts the grand duke's fall, as she's not kidding by calling him one of the best knights in the empire, he ends up saving elena many times.
