she gets captured but then tried to escape by manipulating random soot from the trains that leave the house to the city

so there is enough soot after all

her future escape is in the hallway towards Adult's building, she never try exploring that area. Plus I suspect that area also connecting with Star bearer's building which is also full of guards (she only exploring in the hallway towards the cliff)

Plus, I also suspecting that she receive info from christopher for escape plan. I mean in future chapter he can dissapear from Kate's room, probably a teleportation??

@jwanito They take regular showers. Why else would there be a water fountains lol, it's like building a fountain of poison if the shadows dissolve in water

@DANDAN_THE_DANDAN Yeah water being deadly to shadows is too obvious of a weakness, especially when its placed all around manor. On the other hand if its deadly to clingers it might interfere with shadow powers?
