@Akera93 Happens in real life too, especially in Asia. Females are believed to be inferior to males, especially with the tradition of females moving to their husbands' houses. "They're not so important, anyway. They'll one day live with their husbands and take care of the household" - such thought is common. Well, there are some families nowadays who begin to care about their daughters, but there are still many people who care about their sons more. I know many who have more than 3 or 5 siblings just because their family wants a son. Not to mention because there are many males out there who forbid their wives from working, it's as if females are born to be housewives.
