As a doctor this highly distresses me, that a doctor has operated on someone they wish to be intimate with, it's so highly unethical that I just have to moan and groan about it. When you perform surgery you see everything, and it's just creepy and gross no matter how bijin you are. Sorry for complaining, ignore me, thanks.

Also the chances of having someone you know as a patient is thin, considering that a doctor has a lot of patients and that there tends to be more than one doctor per hospital.

The American Medical Association (AMA) Code of Medical Ethics states: “Physicians generally should not treat themselves or members of their immediate families” [7]. Although these guidelines do not specifically mention friends, the reasons given for not treating family members apply equally to friends.

I know the author tries to connect the dots, but it feels kinda forced
