Shi ni Modori, Subete wo Sukuu Tame ni Saikyou he to Itaru - Vol. 1 Ch. 1

Can't say much just from this first chapter other than that the art was not that generic as compared to the story.

Hey, at least he wasn't reincarnated into another world... or Japanese, for that matter.

Wait what? He's not Japanese? Was that a non-katana he had there? He didn't receive a new overpowered skill from the God(dess)? Are they allowed to do that?

Well, there's gotta at least be some sort of videogame interface or something . . . right?

Guys? I don't know if I'm ready for something like this yet . . .

Hey dude if you save your parents and your village youre never gonna meet your best friend and your lover.

oh look another return to the past with memory intact as a baby manga

well, it is cliche but I can't say I ever disliked those cliches. I'll stick with it obviously, hopefully it does change stuff up instead of sticking to the same old done to death formula of its predecessors.

Generic. Very generic. I remember reading the web novel for this, I'm surprised it got a manga.

Well, at least the first arc is good.
The initial monster stampede that destroys his hometown is thwarted, and he kills the future demon king before he takes over the country his previous life's girlfriend was the princess of, which was the beginning of the chain reaction of events that led his previous life to misery.
Kinda gets boring after though... lots and lots of uninspired generic tropes...

@KuroInfinity

Damn, that’s a shame. But I guess when you deal with Lavos before Chrono time travels in the first place, there’s not much else you can do afterwards that isn’t cliche.
