its really stupid that people come to a fantasy story based in a fantasy world with multiple layers of fantasy in it and try to talk reason like it shud be applied
I think I would enjoy these stories more, if the protagonist wasn't still a toddler when doing this. Let him be 8-9 year old or something before making him this powerful.
1st time reading an isekai where its a simple time travel back to characters own timeline.....i like it. nice pickup and looking forward to reading more.
@krispy Nothing stupid about it. The very fact that the author used the common sense of "calisthenics training" to get the effect of "getting stronger", shows that normal logic applies. If fantasy magic applied, the story would specifically tell us that.
But it doesn't. And he's a 3 years old baby. Doing pull ups. That's trippy.
page 8, the 'training' seems more like he is having difficult to poop. poor baby.
also he is really into it... lol
the child has more motivation than probably all of us together.
@krispy Fiction works by suspension of disbelief but logic can never be discarded.
You can accept and believe in a fantasy world where someone can cast water magic. This is called suspension of disbelief and neccesary to enjoy fiction.
But when the water that the magic creates can somehow ignite wood without any conceivable explanation whatsoever, it is no longer acceptable. This is when the logic failed so bad it stops the suspension of disbelief and the disbelief starts to ruin the enjoyment.
How much illogical things needed to stops the suspension of disbelief vary by person, but just because some of it is fantasy does not automatically makes any reason and logic could no longer applied.
@TwoCranes@Solipsist y'all are right and i overreacted and worded what i wanted to say really badly.....there has to be some logic in fantasy for it to work as a fantasy and maybe in reality kids his age can't do what he's doing (and shouldn't) but i still feel like comparing it to our logic of kids on the mc of a reincarnation manga set in the universe of swords, dragons and magic is like going to a car show and being surprised when cars show up...if u get what i mean...again i shouldn't have said what i said the way i said it, i should have been more specific to what i meant in a more understanding way.
"I'm almost 3 years old now" No you ain't. My nephew is 3 and he don't look like a short 10 yr old. He also doesn't have the articulation of a teenager(I'm looking at you Tina).
