@Sardeed I would want to see either one of these two:
1.They have a daughter who is actually cool and would protect Izumi when Shikimori is absent
2.The kid is unlucky too. That's why Izumi has to grow up and become cool to protect their child.When Shikimori tells the child that his dad was just like Izumi the son or daughter would get excited like a Shounen protagonist and become cool like his parents
