I keep forgetting Ren's a boy. Also, I didn't think he was a mutt. Looked like a cat to me. Funny to see the group's training regiment though. It's like using a super soldier as the average.

I missed Ligia... overflowing personality. Jokes aside, i do like her a lot, she sure is the typical infatuated girl that every isekai has but she can hold her own and more than one of Kai's plans would have been in the mud if she wasn't there.
Knowing a bit more about her and her sister is good to understand how their relationship works, i saw colonel Dias in that list of suitors, she may have reason to mistrust some men but he doesn't pass the impression that any moment of his life he anything short of a good person, even if he was a pirate before being in the navy.
And more than anything, the manga was a bit short on "plot", not that we didn't see some good ones in the past chapters but there is a difference when the moment is tense and when it is easy going.
And can't forget Nia, any Nia moment is a good Nia moment.
Now i noticed, it has been three years the first release of the manga.

@Werebearguy He did mention he had dog's blood, but i didn't know he was more of a half-blood, but makes sense now that i think of it. It was mentioned that pure-blooded beast people here can animalize.
Nia can do a perfect transformation, makes you think of how the genetic heritage of their people is nowadays in the story.

@alacaelum it's possible that Dias was merely one of the suitors her parents scouted out but she refused because of her mistrust of men in general, not for something Dias specifically has done.
I agree, Nia is always welcome.
And you have no idea how much i hope Ligia actually becomes one of the holders of Ambrosia, so that she is "on par" with the other ladies.
This is one of those works where ALL the girls are good (although Sakura sometimes is a bit too possessive/tsundere for my liking, considering Kai has NO romantic obligation with her) but Ligia is possibly my favourite of the bunch...

@Espadas Oh, you are right i forgot to account for simple embarrassment, as he was a candidate coupled with her mistrust their recent encounter just rises the old wounds.
I can understand not liking Sakura tsundere side, but i do think Kai has some obligation to her, i am not trying to say he belongs to her but as a member of royalty and his pledge to her you could say he is obligated to some things, take this in stride truth be told i am just making shit here, but he IS the last semblance of trust she has, the real Grey dead the fate of her family and country uncertain and he is the only bond she has with all that.

Yes, he promised he would do his best to help her recover her homeland so he has some obligation to support her, but that absolutely does not mean he has ANY obligation to get together with her romantically.
This part of her that i dislike was especially noticeable when Lady Suzuri in adult form was seducing Kai.

1) you are a guest in a place that put a lot of importance on honor yet you shout and try to order the revered leader of the people sheltering you
2) If Kai wants to bang the entire female population of that planet, YOU HAVE NO SAY IN IT NOR YOU HAVE ANY RIGHT TO BE ANGRY WITH THEM OVER IT. Kai promised to help you reclaim your home, not to be your husband and reject any other female. FULL STOP.
Yes, that scene REALLY triggered me, since i DETEST tsunderes. I still like Sakura, just not this part of her character.
