Can someone explain what is happening to me? I’m so confused.

@iamtherealbeethoven The two friends are comedians, the more stoic one has a disease and is dying but couldn't muster the strength to tell his friend until their big day where he had nearly died by it already. He gave him his will earlier but the lax friend took it as a joke because, in his eyes, his friend was more than healthy enough even if he was losing weight quickly. The more lax friend had his suspicions after they ate out together, but tried to push them aside until he was faced with the fact that his friend wasn't showing up, answering calls or responding to texts. He assumed he was actually dead and didn't want to pursue his dream any more since they'd always been doing it together and he can't imagine doing it without him. Stoic friend shows up in a wheelchair and explains that the will has all the stuff about his illness that's killing him and they perform their routine. Lax friend is now torn on what to do after realizing his lifelong partner and buddy won't be there for much longer.
