She never once say that she wanted to marry Aoi, she just wanted to go to someplace far away.. She thought that there was no way she can meet Shuri again and staying there is painful for her since that place is full of memories of him, so she decided to run away. It is the same reaction of people who lost their spouse or their lover, decided to move away to ease their pain.
