Shoujo Jiten - Vol. 2 Ch. 11 - Runaway Girl II

The "Is that so?" "That is so." on page 27 is a throwback to page 47 on chapter 1. What a sweet chapter :')! I do hope we continue to get more hints about Reiko though.

It hasn't even been that long, but it's nice to see the other characters all making an appearance for this chapter. I lost my sides when Giko imagined her turning into a ghost of the gaps as well.

argh i really want to know more about giko maybe its because reiko were someone that giko really trust or love back then and she betray him kill him then curse him or something that's why giko still there trying to do girl dictionary book to understand woman .
maybe this will end with yachiko dying after she find the truth abouth giko like the previous girl at the end and giko continue to haunt in that building waiting for the new one to come , i hope this series is doing well so we can see more chapter to come really like it .

The rules of who Giko can show himself to feels a bit consistent or maybe I'm just misremembering them.
As far as I can tell Yachiko doesn't have natural ghost vision, so Giko is just purposely revealing himself to her. But why can't he do this to other people too?

@gouder
From what I can tell, there are three types of people. The first can see ghosts naturally (Hitomi), the second can see ghosts if they choose to show themselves (Yachiko, Kuon, Kotori, Shiori, young Igarashi), and the third can't see ghosts at all (old Igarashi, Furuya, maybe Orie). Rikka's an exception because she's got Hitomi's eye(s?).

Also, it seems like the older you get, the harder it gets to see the spooks.

@GreyArea
You're right, actually I think the only named characters who can't see him no matter what are adults. We actually know Orie can, because she can see him when he "haunts" the film strip. But then there's the problem that the entirety of the theater audience (which seems to be mostly adults) also somehow happen to be able to see him too.

@gouder
I'll just headcanon it being like ghosts showing up on recordings but invisible with the naked eye and stuff. Like you can see the movie club guys see him projected, but they looked like they had no idea what was going on and couldn't see him stuck on the physical film tapes themselves. Orie also couldn't see tape Giko when Yachiko showed him with the tapes.

Then again, it's a gag scene so I wouldn't overthink it.
