Shunkan Gradation

I tend to find rival characters annoying, but somehow key guy just seems entertaining to me. Not that I’m on his ship, just he’s fun to watch.

Her denying her feelings is going to come back to haunt her. I have a feeling the annoying guy will use it against Okachimachi.

This is a bit too formulaic Shoujo for me. It is going to get annoying, and there is nothing standout going on to keep me hooked.

It is decent.
But it has a charm, even if it is not great or anything.
It shows how school-life manga is; interesting random chat, gain something new with many point of views from club activities, not exaggerated characters, spinning on a youth dream : what you do not and want to do and in the same time they know 'what is love' too. Makes Shunkan Gradation in a nutshell. I found it very natural.

The impact isn't something make you go Kyaa Kyaa, the route seems different and I like it and not boring at all. If you need many cheesy scenes, look for another series, it's easy peasy.

I'm pretty sure this isn't noisy cliche like most of shoujo manga out there.

And talk about their characters, they aren't exaggerating themselves, or as self-ego characters (maybe I can say there is one or two, like the blonde guy for example). The heroine has clumsy, likes to wander, air-head personality but in the same times she is thoughtful.

Their encounter will be the most important thing, they are buddies and they will get to know each other with something new they share together.

As for now, because there is translator for this, I'm not intend to read the raw myself. I give it a safe number around 7-8.

This is a good manga. Like, really good. No idea why the comments are mostly complaints.

This is pretty good. Their interactions are pretty damn realistic compared to most shoujo manga. Can't go wrong with lighthearted stories.

Gaah, that new cover is amazing! This manga is really growing on me, if you want a simple, sweet shoujo give this one a try :)

Simple and cute. Quite realistic. No annoying characters. Just nice friendships.
I liked the fact that there was hardly any drama, just bits of character development, no love triangle for a change was good too...

Just beautiful.

i feel like i'm betraying my humanities-aligned self by rooting for the baseball boy over the artist... he's just too sweet TT
