Maybe Mia will realize that Hyun isn’t going to wait forever. Especially when surrounded by better women. Sure, most of them are prostitutes or former prostitutes, but they had good reasons for sleeping around. Mia gave herself to a gangbanger because she thought she could “fix” him and make him into some sort of imaginary good husband guy or whatever. But, she does like and even want Hyun yet won’t give up on Gunner. I hope this experience right here makes her realize that if she does that, Hyun will move on from her. This is a punch in the face reminder that she’s losing the only good things in her life.
