Let me guess. What's-his-name is going to confess to Mayu just as Haru shows up and witnesses the confession when he, himself, was prepared to confess to Mayu. Haru gives up and heads back to Tokyo thinking Mayu has already found herself a boyfriend. Hopefully, he really will give up on her and find himself a worthy girlfriend who is willing to be open and honest with him.
