I thought they made a typo when she called her guardian : her father's BROTHER, He really looks like a woman.And her childhood friend looks like a boy......the genders in this manga are a bit tricky.

People fussing about gender... Nao-chan presents as a woman and, probably, considers herself one. Of course, family often doesn't see things that way and will talk about her as her father's brother. Ultimately, it was nice that the manga didn't pay it much attention.

Also, is this really not romance? It smells like romance.
