actually, slime knows he has to use the wish quickly anyway since Fenrir is hot on his ass...

hmm... but the trade off is good I'll say. for the mistake, slime got a powerful Fenrir in debt to him with a stronger moral compulsion since slime truly showed his super straight-laced logic/child-like innocence....

and plus, the author could also keep the golem card for a bit longer for more prolonged content for the story...

@no168_92 We don't know that. Maybe it turns to stone after one wish. Maybe it transports you above ground. Maybe the fenrir could only be free if the stone was smashed on the ground. There are too many unknown variables, so we'll never know.
