@RemIpsum It's a bit weird for sure.
Maybe there's a (skipped) tutorial suggesting you should go on to other cities based on factions or something? That'd also explain why people would just quickly pop into the stores and merely buy things to take them to the next city (so food and extra weapons/consumables - and nobody's even buying skills with their starter money).
