This, with a few more chapters, could have been far better with some more real gayness instead of BL vagueness.
It’s good. Quite good, even.
It just had a realness to the characters that was ripe for realness to the world.

It's a pity this ends with—"Alright, we've begun to make up, which means everything's solved, let's have sex immediately". It sort of ruins the moment.

Like, this was very nearly a powerful and moving story about mistakes and forgiveness, but instead ended up feeling more like fairly generic yaoi, and that's one of the chief moments I'd pin that downgrade on in particular.
