@LowSanity, maybe I'm butting into a thread that has nothing to do with me, but I think @anifd is asking to have a sorting option for when an entire series first began getting uploaded to MangaDex, not just when the most recent chapter was added. I'm only assuming this because I've had similar thoughts, so if I'm wrong, my bad. I've also thought about having a sorting feature added for when a manga was first published, but I know sometimes it's difficult to discover publishing dates for particularly old manga, but that's neither here nor there.

@Sleeper yes. i can see why they were confused (assuming they thought i was being unmindful). i thought it could already be inferred that i meant "date the series was added to mangadex," not the date a new chapter was added being that the sort by date updated option was visible enought not to miss. my English skills have diminished so it something else i can work on

@anifd The feature wouldn't be useful for over 20,000 entries on the site. We imported a large part of our entries from Batoto's old entries. Not sure how useful it is for the series that came afterwards either.
