Nah. There's a difference between giving enormous character development the space it deserves, and "dragging it out". Save that criticism for a chapter that *isn't* playing a crucial role in completing the emotional arc of several main characters.

(That said, I would definitely agree with you if you'd commented that on some other chapters. lol)

For me, the thing to take from these last chapters is that Takoha isn't special in the sense of a "chosen one" that he can talk people out of the painting. With enough willpower and understanding and whatnot, other people can also do that, even though it's hard.

Yeah Takoha was just the first one to defend himself from the paintings in the current time period (since Zanka managed to do it back in the past). He just showed others what they needed to do to defend themselves from it. Now he's also valued and considered a threat by the mansion because they need an artist to cover the paintings.
