Souboutei Kowasubeshi - Vol. 22 Ch. 211 - Rokurou On The Run

"that's Deido all beaten up on your back" that's one hell of an understatement.

Wait a minute, wait a minute. Takoha's ancestor must have been a famous artist, he said. Does that mean he and Deido could be blood related? As in, like, his sister did the thing with the artist that she totally fell in love with, and had a child or something, and that's why she feels all depressed and stuff when she got back home because she probably had to leave her kid behind or- shit, I don't even know what I'm talking about anymore.

@7goat No, that's what I've been thinking, too. Takoha must be a descendant of Tsukihashi Yomiza. I wonder how Deido will take that.

It fits quite well, too. The year is 2017, so Takoha, just out of art college, must have been born in the late nineties. Assuming generational times of 20 years, this means his parents must have been born in the seventies; grandparents, in the fifties; great-grandparents, in the thirties, and great great grandparents in the teens. If we increase it to 25, we get Shinobu's approximate birth at the turn of the century as his great great grandmother, having a child around the time of WW1 when Deido (born 1904) was in middle school.

Also, this means Sei'ichi and Makoto, being Takoha's uncle and aunt, are likely also Shinobu's descendants and Deido's great-great-nephews.

I also think Takoha's distant ancestor is somehow Yomiza. Also agree with what you say, Kendama. Let's now forget that in Fujita's stories, all characters are somewhat part of a big family.
Thank you for the chapter, btw!

I'm still wondering about those "tunnels of time" connecting between Souboutei and 1930-something, which I'm fairly sure someone explicitly said the invaders mustn't know about... So how and why did Deido(?) make them?
