I guess it's important to know why Oujin was such a freak, even if that doesn't remotely excuse his actions. But then you have to ask why his father was so abusive, and etc... Point is, hopefully that cycle of abuse and evil has ended, now that the sisters are free and working for the Power of Friendship and Justice instead.

...to be honest, taking into account Oujin's personality, I thought that he made Koremitsu that way just because he needed a strong summon but, on the other hand, he did mention that his father was an abusive guy (if I'm not wrong)...

I just tore through this whole manga and what a place to be caught up on. I deeply appreciate that we're given an understanding of oujin.... but... in the end he's not really sympathetic. His daughters went through shit just as bad, if not worse. It's just the final 'How' of him.

Seriously, this series has some of the best character studies I've seen in a story.
