anything that involves space exploration civilization, spaceships, space, galactic empires and etc...
Sci-fi is such a broad term that doesnt encapsulate what a viewer search for when they want to find manga with spaceships.

I saw so many tag posts recently...

Wouldn't custom tags be better at this point? Eg. anybody can add any tag he wishes for. Such tag would stay private and could be voted. If the tag gains certain number of votes in certain period it would become public.

And why "space" and not "space opera"?
