Was it a good choice to leave the lady in red all alone even with a safe secret room it's still very dangerous for one person to survive alone in this kind of situation unless she have a mystic plot armour and meets another strong party to join

While I get why he took Fei Fei and her sisters, I don't see the logic in leaving behind Hong Ling, the lady in the Red Dress. Fei Fei can't even walk for long, at least Hong Ling would try to do stuff to prove her worth to him. I think that was a bad choice. That just seemed like the author making MC incapable of forgetting things people did in his past lives even if it's obvious those people have made a change like Hong Ling.
