Sugar-ism

i read the author's afterword a bunch of times. i thought it was quite well explained (translation-wise, i mean, in that i feel like i understand what the author's trying to say). and plus it made me think about something i hadn't ever considered. to be honest, when i saw eros, i just thought about anne carson... anyway, what i wanted to say is that, even though it's true, i also feel it's quite romantic to dedicate that 'living energy' to that 'wanting to die' energy, overall the afterword made me feel even sadder. this is like quietly tragic, but quite beautiful

Such a shallow interpretation of the instincts, I strongly think that one should never try to make use of however popular or authoritative ideas to label other people. Doing so is just wrong. And btw this manga seemed very appealing and realistic - just before I read the afterword.
