- I open a chapter (not the first) with pages
- I click the chapter selection (#jump-chapter) -> selection is opening
- I do not select an chapter but I click in the image area -> selection is closing
- I press the right arrow key to load the next page -> First page from the chapter before is opening

OS: MacOS
Browser: Firefox 82.0 (As far as I remember it has been like this for many versions.)
In Chrome 86 I have to click again inside the image area to activate the arrow keys. No chapter switch here.

I checked it. If I press the key arrow the event listener for "jump chapter" is called (why ever).

@master_rand Sounds a lot like you changed the reading direction on accident by pressing 'H' or something and now your "right arrow" is going backwards instead of forwards

Default is left to right, other option for more japanese immersion is right to left

No, the jump is only once after opening the select. After that the navigation with the arrow keys works correctly again.

Can't replicate on Windows, but I assume for some reason on MacOS the focus is still on the select even after closing it which would kind of explain why the arrow keys would jump the chapter.
