Yeah, it does seem a little out of place given the setting. Although we can just chalk it up as one of Kazura's souvenirs, like the time he brought fairy tale books for the village kids.

@harry_dong that makes it worse. If it's a rare book from gods country, you would think they would take much better care of it. Just letting it fall into the river should really be unforgivable. They just had a whole discussion on how important a printer and how powerful it could be. That an entire country could be run from a printer. How much time it would save with not having to copy manuals by hand.

Again I know it's just a gag, but that was what was going through my mind.

That's a very good point. Although, I myself never took very good care of my books either when I was younger--they're all scribbled in or destroyed with pages ripped out, and that didn't stop until I started paying for books myself, when it started to mean much more to me and my wallet...Who knows. Maybe that dude will take better care of his books from now on, since he nearly lost it for good.

I'm definitely overthinking all of it though, just for a throwaway gag.
