Yeah, those last fruits look just a little bit suspicious. A fruit's purpose is actually to get eaten and thus spread the seeds when whatever ate the fruit eventually defecates, but you never know what evolution in a fantasy world might come up with. Maybe those ghastly faces on the fruits actually attract some specific monkey species.
