Well, humans eat mammals perfectly fine, it isn't cannibalism.
And for some groups, eating other primates is also not cannibalism.

For simplicity sake, think of birds like how one bird might be looking at another as if we are looking delicious looking monkey or cow or something.

Though....knowing her, cannibalism is always an option on the table....
