@Tamerlane I'm buddihst so i can give you more insight on this also Japanese buddhism came from my country. we have general rule in buddism for normal people they are
1.Don't kill humans , animals etc
2.Don't lie
3.Don't drink alchol ,drugs etc
4.Don't steal
5. Don't cheat,ntr, or rape
I mean this rules are in paali I just don't know how to prounce them in english so in short most of the people withought knowing at least gonna obey one or two rules in here also these rules are meant to follow on daily basis
