@stretch22 well I mean, it's a slice of life inside Tempest, where a war broke out, and the entire city was involved. There is literally no way to avoid this.

Pretty much what imkyo said, this takes place before Tempest was fully acknowledged and before Rimuru's change. Either they do a disservice to the story and skip this part or the manga ends before it happens. Both of which I'll rather not have.

If you want near 100% pure slice o life, readTensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken: Mamono no Kuni no Arukikata which is based afterwards or Tensura! Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken which is a pure comedy retelling of things.
