you lose scale on strength cause of the whole OP MC thing going on, but if you stop to think on it, that Youmu guy must actually be decently strong from the start, even if they were holding back he still took blows to the head from Shion AND Milim without dying despite being only human

Rereading the manga I'm always disappointed they never showed Youmu's reaction to Rimuru's human form..

This was really missing from the anime innit? I would've loved have seen this animated in it's full form, Youmu and his gang defenitly lost a lot of character development because of the cut :/

@Ruritto Right there with you. Although there were a couple of scenes that I thought the anime did better, overall the manga stands far above in my opinion. At least it looks like S2 will be fleshing out what was skipped over, but there were many moments like that where I just thought "Nooooo, it could've been so good if you just included that part"

@knight_evangel She's Gabimaru's sister (a lizardman princess). All the lizardmen who follow Souei (the Spying Oni) became more human-like after they were named by Rimuru, supposedly to infiltrate human kingdoms more easily.

@Goyal99Raj that's not even close to what I was talking about. This is a goblin that first appeared before we even went to the Dwarf Kingdom, back when Rimuru was still naming the goblin citizens.
