Huh are really people complaining about this being boring? Personally got lost on the latter part of the first season, and I'm enjoying this more.

This Tenjho Tenge style "Prequel stuffed into the main series" deal has some payoffs when things go back to the present, but I'm not really surprised that people have written it off on account of being a flashback.

I personally appreciate more Lilia backstory and all the wacky Russian mob/Bratva stuff being introduced into the story as another portion of Jungwoo's eventual rogue's gallery.

@lodestarx if it's a prequel that's fine but I still argue that there are better ways to do this. In terms of pacing what are we actually discovering that we couldn't already infer?

Honestly the only better way to do it would be to just have it be a spinoff webtoon that people can just (and obviously will, judging by comments) decide not to read. Overall, the actual length of the whole thing is more just self-indulgence on the part of the author. It'd probably read a lot better for most people if they were rereading/catching up after the flashback was finished rather than having to contend with translation speed or having to read it as it comes out.
