The Ancient Magus' Bride - Vol. 6 Ch. 29 - Look before you leap II

That logic is flawed as we generally try to guide those younger than us with advice and when the advice is taken poorly we tell them sometimes sarcastically (even though the thing said sarcasm is not something that exists to them) to go ahead with their choice so they can see that the advice they were give was true and now they've learned first hand. Problem is in this case humans for the most part assume magical being don't exist, so seeing this outcome is kinda hard. Either way it isn't abandonment but a lesson.
 
Is the last page suggesting that Chise wishes she had more human friends, and she's sad that she can't tell her first one where they live? That's so sad...
 
I guess turning into a bear somehow is the alternative to going through a labyrinth.

Anyone else realize on page 26 that they're playing a console video game and this story is in like the 19th century
