The Archmage's Daughter - Ch. 11

Force them to kill, so clearly they want to die.
And that emperor who imposed that curse made me realize that he is as sick as this useless family. -_-

Doubling down on being a massive douchebag to a crazy powerful seemingly mentally unstable mage is a bold strategy.

Hopefully it won't pay off. I know the shitty parents won't die, but hopefully they lose the battle and in the long run.

Why would you try to anger the guy who came to destroy your house, and who has the power to kill you and your family with the snap of his fingers?

Is the brother just so far up his own ass that he can't stop insulting Maybelle even for one moment?

Woah thank you for update 😊 Protection and revenge from father... Amazing! Of course with the love of his beloved lovely daughter😍 What I wonder is deal between him and royal family...

@karolyn Doesn't sound like he actually has the power to take down the bastards, otherwise there'd be less gloating and more crying.

Good to know he had an actual legit reason for not being able to go to her and that he has always cared for her. I've been getting tired of the reborn as the daughter of a psycho trope so this is refreshing somewhat

@karolyn they think he can't do much more than tear down their home and scare him, thanks to those chains and the royal pact. thats why they're getting suicidally mouthy. they think this is the time to vent 10+ years of resentment against him, thinking that when alls said and done, the pact will force him to stop without doing anything deadly to them.

im thinking maybe they dont actually understand the pact as well as they think, but i dont doubt that they'll survive this precisely because of it.

dang i want them to die so bad. everything they say doesn't even help their case

It would appear the royal family also appears to have their heads up their asses.

If a guy as unhinged as Rykell really wants, there's nothing that can stop him. All this talk about "contracts" and "agreements" means nothing to someone who wields as much power as him.

EDIT: Not to mention, the wards around the estate only slowly deteriorate his body, and does absolutely nothing to stop him from using his abilities apparently. What's stopping him from blasting everything to bits in a few seconds and leaving? The wards are useless.
