seeing how hairy his arm got i'm assuming the neglectful dad is a werewolf and wanted her out to "protect her". that still doesn't excuse his actions of abandoning her for 10 years without visiting even once or checking to see that she's being treated well. he also tried to kill her as soon as he saw her and once he found out who she was he didn't show her an ounce of affection.
author better have something more to add onto his character if he wants us to like him.

@JWChibi I think chapter 3 he explains that? The old man is his disguise as human, but because the father broke the magical barrier with the teleportation, his human disguise is gone. Since she knows the true and there is no one to hide about who they are, he is in his natural form here, I believe
