@Sarsak@cryum There is a reincarnation and isekai tag, so my guess the shock of having her marriage annulled made her remember her past life memories, and now she is not the original girl any more. It would explain her lack of knowledge and her personality changing over night. As well as the awkwardness you spotted with her parents.
You know how like in lot of these game novel type stories, it's filled with 1D characters and the isekai person is the only one with any sort of reality to their character?
From reading the novel, I got the impression this story takes the above and inverts it. All the background characters acquired 2d persona while the heroine, the main leads and the villianess is 1d.
She does evolve though because of the situation they are in. As does the "supporting character." The dude has his own navitity that he needs to evolve out of.
This story is focusing on the people that got tossed away by the reincarnated isekai heroine. That's the impression I had until the author decided to make something more of the villianess.
Well this is actually better than the cliched villainess looking for revenge or transmigrated villainess making the supposedly jerky fiance going head over heels. This plot is more realistic.
If someone is wondering about how clueless she is despite being a former queen candidate
That's because
remember when the malelead led her out from the ball right after the prince annulled the engagement and she couldn't remember who exactly the male lead was even though he was her classmate?
In my opinion she regained her previous life memory and lost the memory of the real villainess right after the annulment. This part is still vague since everything in the novel is based on the ml's point of view.
She's probably some sort of office lady that handles things in a company (like manager?) she's good at negotiations and a great cook.
