But the story is terrible. I thought I could read a "hitman" story, but this doesn't seem mysterious enough or realistic enough for me not to take it as a joke.

uuuuh is a normal human killing magicians or something? It's not the worst type of plot if these assassins have some special weapons or something but he legit had a normal pistol....why?
