Support the author by donating to their patreon. As I've pointed out so many times, Mangaka in Japan work for a flat rate. They see no cash from number of sales.

Translators just think that it'll make it a little less likely to be shut down by the rights owners.

@princeofcups - you are right that mangakas don't get a share of the profits but also if the sales of their volumes (Tankōbon) and magazine (plus their ranking within the magazine) drop or not reach a certain threshold, their series can get axed and so will their income!

On top most of the Japanese mangakas don't have a Patreon so even if you wanted to support them there is not always such an opportunity.

xiaowoo has a patreon page though and has very nice content for those interested (NSFW). We will never be publishing any content from their patreon though only their published manga work.
