Here one:
What if the Ai-chan as in Ai as in artifical intelligence is a both Ai and the cake chief. Okay hear me out.
Ai was created by a human for some good cause(more on who is the human) but got corrupted somehow in the process, tho she was able to separated her good half before it was also devoured by the bad half in doing so she had to suppress her memories for the right moment and the triggered word are for her masters (creators) confession. The evil half to avoid that separated her into many other Ai across Tokyo to make the task more difficult.
They sould try the confession part with other version to confirm this theory of mine. Mc might not be able to do it but that genius kid manager(ex) can.
The evil half good half theory idea hit me when the chief was revealed and that hair pin...noticing that in the next page our Ai-chan is wearing the pin but on the opposite side of chief(might be a sudden hint from author that these to are opposite of eachother).

Based on what Yukiko said in this chapter, and what happened at the end. I'm going to guess Yukiko has been lying this whole time about how she knew this was all fake. Makoto seemed to have done something "for Yukiko" regarding Ai. Maybe he actually found out the truth about Ai, but had his memory wiped, and Yukiko knew.
