Okay, I am MILDLY sympathetic to the wheelchair bound young miss, because she's absolutely right. Her lover was bought with wicked money, and she's legit sickly. However, she's part of the problem here since she believes the rumors and is in no way open to any but the worst possibilities.
As for how long our girl is going to be stuck there, what's this about when she grows up? I assumed, quite possibly incorrectly that she needed to be of age to be married. What is the deal with that?
@unime the rumors started after she was assaulted, but no culprit was caught. Presumably it was assumed that it was actually an illicit lover or some other victim blaming nonsense. Then rumors do as they will among those without any actual information, becoming grossly inflated as they are repeated with disgusted dramatic flair.
At least MC in this manhwa MC has some common sense. I read so many stories like that where the wife just think oh I just need to be better wife and accept everything. Here she at least want a divorce.
@blackbunii If what you said is true then I'm so happy XD. Thank you for the spoils :3!!!!
I will continue to read it. I am so sick of stories where the "male lead" is a fucking retard who believes anything his lover or followers say, some even torture and kill the girl (in reincarnation stories) but because he apparently is "not a bad person" so they will still get together and live happily ever after
Ah...finally a warm environment for her. We needed this to sooth our rage.
Hopefully Mr. Coachman will spread some of this surprising information around when he gets back.
As for the Duke himself...eh. He's foolish, but doesn't seem like a bad person, which is more than I can say for plenty of other otome/shoujo love interests. I'd much rather have Claude be the male lead though.
