Looks like the story is setting itself up as Baek vs Dowun, and whether the princess will elope for love but no prestige, or stay with Dowun for power.

@voyager I was thinking the same! I hope it goes that way, it would be way more interesting than an abusive one-sided relationship with Dowun which turns into ~true love~ somehow... It'll be super disappointing if the story goes that route
