When I read at first, I thought it was some kind of a weirdo revenge or whatever like some other manga which I forgot the name, and it turns out to be a Corpse Party-like without the Isekai haunted house background in the end?
From reading the last chapter with my broken Spanish:
This is a Japanese horror style of cursed ending. The protagonist doesn't do more than understand the ghost. He can't exorcise it or "win." All he does is stave off death for a few more days at a time, assuming he can keep the ghost happy every time.
And buckle up for the next chapter. It gets bad. Real bad.
@Flare3500 I think it's interesting how you think they're mutually exclusive.
But man do I regret reading this, it's like when you open a bag of potato chips and you weren't expecting it to be good or anything but at least passable but they're worse than you imagined.
But you thought you'd try a few more to see if it got better, and now you're almost near the end and you know it won't get better but now you're committed to finishing the bag.
