What they did is the last resort to stop a bleeding as it can cause necrosis on the limb if it's too tight for too long, most important step is applying pressure on the wound with a clean piece of cloth until emergency services arrive. Stay safe people.

seen enough movies and other medical manga to know that hes gonna have to stab him to release the built up air in the chest cavity because of the tension pneumothorax.
MC gonna freak out cause he has to stab someone and the body guards are gonna freak out because the person they are suppose to protect is getting stabbed by someone.
