The Hawk's Song - Ch. 8 - Act 1 - Challenge

Trying to translate what he was singing:

under great banners
a loud trumpet and drums
runs bent over the forest
sometimes for the joints, for profit

Uh... that can't be right

@YerRob It could be like this:
Under the holy banner
With a loud trumpet and drums
Runs bented through the forest
Sometimes for a fame, sometimes for a profit

It' a part of the song Duma rycerska (Knight's pride) by Adam Czahrowski written in 1599 in Lviv
