I'm not sure if I'm reading this right though. Is malham sweet by default, or does it become sweet after being boiled in sugar and honey? It seems like it might be something too sweet for an adult to eat, since the best fruits for pies tend to be the ones that are at least a little bit sour prior to baking, so that it offsets the sweetness.
