Unless ofcourse the curse has a LOS clause and stops every other kind of communication (example writing in Wolf form). In which case its a rather brutal curse.

@feha expect the unexpected,cause 1 time i thought a manga was wholesome as hell at the first half but then it really hit me with dark past which includes(tons of depressing stories,rapes,and (╥_╥)(╥_╥))

@shin_968 I was mostly posting tongue-in-cheek, though it is true that the animated gif threw me off for a few seconds but yes I am aware it wasn't an actual ad (I did think I had hit the credits for a few extra seconds as well though, only noticing I had more to scroll by luck :d)

@Jethzki which manga are you thinking of? I can think of a fair few that does that kind of genre-shift, but not any that suddenly goes into rapes as far as halfway in. Most bait-n-switches of that magnitude that I know of happens closer to first few chapters, so a bit interested (even if the surprise will be spoilt... :/).
